Whitney Eve Spring/Summer 2013

We just found out that our Ombre Denim tutorial was actually featured on Lauren Conrad's Blog this weekend in her Friday Favorites list! What a coincidence because we just prepped the pics that we took at her friend Whitney Port's runway presentation at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week!

This show took place on on Wednesday, September 12th, 2012 at the Studio in the Lincoln Center & we just happened to get sent to this show by Chictopia.

Her collection was full of detailed prints in soft colours like mauves, mushrooms and milk chocolates and featured great tailored pants suits and lots of cutouts and midriffs. She hit all of the major spring trends and kept it classy too. Look carefully & you'll catch the racing stripe manicures in a matching colour palette. super easy and cute! Milly Spring/Summer 2013

We went to check out the Milly Runway presentation on Wednesday, September 12th, 2012 at the Stage in the Lincoln Center during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week c/o Chictopia. This collection really appealed to me for the easy wearability. I could totally see myself wearing any of the outfits. The futuristic, sportswear inspired looks were so on-point; i'm dying for spring!

Nanette Lepore Spring/Summer 2013

We got the chance to go to the Nanette Lepore Runway presentation on Wednesday, September 12th, 2012 at the Stage in the Lincoln Center during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week c/o Chictopia. This was our second season catching her show & it didn't disappoint! Every guest walked in to see big blue buttons sitting on our seats. Upon closer inspection they were Obama/Biden campaign buttons! Pretty awesome.

fashion week tuesday

Another massive photo dump here! This is what we were up to on our third day at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week c/o Chictopia!


Brunch at the lovely Piccolo Cafe

We explored Grand Central Station because we skipped it last time around.




We found out that inside Grand Central, there was an amazing restaurant called Grand Central Oyster where you can sit down for a meal or even pop by the pick up window to just grab a few freshly shucked oysters to go!


We stuck around and ordered some beers and a selection of oysters, our new obsession. Yum!

They were filming the Fashion Police show inside the building for the whole week! Kelly Osbourne & Kimora Lee-Simmons! Joan Rivers was on the other side but never turned around.

At this point we hit up the Candela Presentation, and then continued with our touristy day!


After our shows, we headed to the piers to check out what was up & went to see the Bodies Exhibition. SO COOL.

After all that, we finished the night with going to the Lars Andersson Presentation!

Hey dudes, clearly it's not Monday anymore... but yesterday we were busy eating turkey leftovers (it was Canadian Thanksgiving!) and enjoying a day off!
