Time after time

It feels like we've been taking longer and longer breaks from blogging lately but I'll refrain from apologizing every time we return. Life happens and things have changed, but we always have reason to come back.


The lucky thing about starting a blog with your sister is that there's really no room for growing apart with us. Things that will never change: our love of fashion, DIY and of course caffeine. 

Our favourite summer past time: drinking beer in the hot sun. Whether it's by the pool or at music festivals, we love to get outside because Canadian summers feel so short compared to the winters.

Oxblooood Dress

Like many people...autumn gives me a strange attraction to oxblood articles of clothing...So we got a hold of oxblood bamboo knit and I couldn't be more excited! The first thing I decided to make...skater dress!

Skater Dress Obsession

Ever since winning a Black Milk cat skater dress...I've been obsessed. I was inspired to make my own skater dresses and I'm so excited about them. Yeap, made more than one. With my fabric inventory - I've produced an obscene amount of them. Here's the first one I made:

It's made out of Bamboo knit and is incredibly soft. It's love but there's so much more to come!

Reverse Legbone Suspenders

I absolutely love my legbone leggings from Black Milk Clothing. They were actually one of my first pairs of leggings from Black Milk.
Recently, I felt like I had to make them into suspenders. So here we have legbones in a reverse suspender form. I designed this type of suspender leggings with the intention of being able to wear them in different ways. These are so incredibly versatile, seriously. I can wear them as suspenders, shorts, or have the reverse suspender stockings clipped to a dress or skirt!

The other day I was participating in a Black Milk galaxy flat lay outfit challenge and I, unfortunately, didn't win but I came in the top 20 at least! Nothing changed at all

I admit that it's quite rare to see me in an outfit that isn't casual and skull covered. I recently rearranged my closet and started that system where you hang all your hangers backwards until you actually wear your clothes and you rotate the hang back around. That's pretty much why I'm wearing an outfit that is incredibly untypical of me.

So last night and this afternoon I had the opportunity to hang out with James Lillis and Cameron Parker of Black Milk Clothing when they made the only Canadian stop, in Toronto, of their SharkieCon tour.
