Last night we had a creative photo shoot with a crew of awesome gals.
Our dear friend Rebecca, who is usually a photographer, asked us to provide some clothes for a photoshoot she had been planning on modeling in/

Her talented friend Sylvia Pereira would be shooting & Katie Marie was our makeup artist... & Amanda would be doing hair on her first creative shoot!

We were going through Sylvia's gorgeous collection of photo books... from the McQueen Savage Beauty book (OMG), Nick Knight, David Lachapelle, to Vogue portraits etc...

I'd like to take a quick second & apologize for my lack of an online presence in the past week & a half. Sam & I have been busy prepping for the Clothing Show this weekend but we've been keeping another big news story under wraps... We moved! Our studio space was getting too small for the amount of stuff we had (a sewing studio requires a LOT of space!) so we've relocated & have been going nuts trying to settle in our stuff at the same time as prepping for the show! phew.

Our blog has fallen behind quite a bit, but I'll be trying to do double posts in the next few days in hopes of catching up so that I haven't failed my post-a-day challenge for this year! :)

105: lipgloss, glitter & vomit

Today we did a photoshoot with Vomit Stars photography & Sasha Glitter! It was a bit impromptu, as we scheduled with Ashley of Vomit Stars only about a week ago... but it was super easy for us cause she just wanted a bunch of our current stock & we brought along some new accessories we were working on :)

Sasha was really great at posing & whipping out tons of jumps & hops & squatting on the floor! um, sounds weird, but I swear it was hot :)

101: modeling~~

Carrie Jade has sent the first couple of pics from our photoshoot a couple weekends ago! AHH! I'm so happy with these first few pics :) I was soo soo tired that day & I was a little disappointed with our modeling skills at the time, but Carrie was able to capture us looking energetic & ~COOOOLL~~~ hahaha

086: behind the scenes

Shooting with Carrie Jade this weekend was loads of fun.
& lemme tell you, she's a good hostess too! She baked cupcakes for us & prepped a candy platter too! amaaaazing.


i forgot to take behind the scenes shots until the shoot was basically over... so we ate most of the candies. haha

Carrie's a young photographer but from working with her in the past, I knew that she was bold and was good with giving models directions when they started falling flat. It was a good thing too because Sam & I are kinda dud models in the first place & we were so tired, I felt like my face kept defaulting to bitch-face every few minutes. gah. I have faith in Carrie though & I'm sure she caught us in some good moments :)

So this weekend we've confirmed another photoshoot with our precious Carrie Jade! She's the amazing young photographer who shot our two lookbooks and we don't just adore her work, we adore HER! At only 17 she's got quite the portfolio built up already & we're so happy to be contributors in her work. This weekend Sam & I will actually be in front of the lens for the first time (we usually just photograph each other & have never had a real photographer shoot us) so I'm a little nervous cause I'm an awkward dork. Let's hope Carrie can work her magic on us :)
