diy floral sunglasses

The other week, Chictopia posted one of our photos on their facebook page. There's something about a popular page posting a photo of a person-- the fans never hold back their harsh opinions. I'm a big girl. I can take it. But some dude was like "her sunglasses are too much" ... and I thought to myself, WHAT THE HELL. I'LL SHOW YOU TOO MUCH!

So here's this week's tutorial. A "flower crown for your eyes" as I like to call them. Definite summer festival glam :) Click on any of the photos below to go to the step-by-step, oooh baby.

  2. haha, I'm okay with it! Keeps my ego in check, lol ;)

Thanks! It's a dress from H&M, there's still lots in store here-- I figure it'll be an amazing swim cover up too!

  3. I personally wouldn't wear a flower crown around my eyes. I'd look out of place, but it looks pretty cool on you! (:

tell me about your hair cut though, it looks gorgeous here! your hair has grown so much! O_O

  4. Favecrafts posted inspiration & realisation's bobbin ring (made as a sentimental gift) on their FB site with the question, "Would you wear this or not and why?" I could not believe the horrible comments the ring got - by people who had never even read the post. Love your attitude and the sunglasses!

  11. hahah, it's not for everyone (in fact, they're a little heavy now and slip down my nose a bit, so they're not a good everyday pair of sunnies)

AHHH! It's crazy right now, I'm actually embarrassed to go back to my hairdresser because I've literally abandoned the salon for 2 whole years. So really it's just a lack of a haircut. & the curly ends are just the split ends holding a curl from my hair being in a bun! But thank you so much for noticing! It always seems like such a long process to grow out a short haircut :)

  12. Yeah! It irks me that most of the questions or comments on facebook posts could have easily been answered if people made the effort to actually *read* the full blog posts! I suppose the mask of a username just makes people much bolder... but oh well. Thanks so much for your sweet comment! It's all of these ones that outweigh the negativity & make things worth it ;)
