Hi guys,
It's been a couple of weeks now, but we've got another cute simple tutorial for you to try out on the Chictopia Blog. I'm sure you've heard the buzz about the trendy peplum silhouette! Well, I've been a fan for a while now because of how it takes in my waist & gives me a hippier silhouette. Check out the article we posted on Chictopia to learn how to make your own detachable peplum that you can wear with any outfit. Click on any of the pics to go read the full diy!
Check it out & be sure to leave any comments or questions on Chictopia! Let us know what you think :)
What a great way to refashion a simple skirt, you ladies are genious! I included a link to this post at the end of my latest post! xx
ReplyDeletethanks so much for linking us! your blog is great :) xo
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic idea!! I can't wait to make one myself!!Love u guys!!
ReplyDelete1) This is totally genious, & I may need to bust out my sewing machine this weekend
ReplyDelete2) Your hair looks AMAZING! What's going on there? Is that a side sock-bun? It it something even more clever that I can't imagine? I MUST KNOW.
bahahha, it's indeed a side sock bun!! After you sock-bun, any normal ponytail/bun is just so limp!
ReplyDeleteI just kept my fly-aways in control by doing a half dutch crown (french braid along the front) and then ended it with the bun. Not too complicated but it looks really put-together, you know?! :)
That's it, I need to try the sock bun. My hair's at that awful in-between where nothing looks good, & I can't decide if I want to cut or grow it. CLEARLY I need to take a page from your book & disguise with braids & buns asap.
ReplyDeleteUm... this is pretty much the most amazing thing ever. I can think of at least 3 pieces I could use an extra peplum for in my current wardrobe. Thanks for the sweet tutorial!!
ReplyDeleteI love your necklace!! Did you make this one too?
ReplyDeleteWhen I'm done being pregnant I'm totally making this!
