They were a free pair that I ordered online with a coupon code... unfortunately, I couldn't get black frames, so I settled for tortoise shell. I always say that I'm an all-black kinda gal & it's held true foreverrrrr. I will always gravitate towards solid black or monochromatic greys & shiz. In this particular case, I just settled & figured, I've done black, I've done black & grey & I've done clear glasses, so I might as well try something new.
I've declared that I haaaaate brown on myself, but I'm going to have to take that back now. I think I might actually love these! It's a refreshing throwback to the days when I had rayban wayfarers & people asked me if my glasses were a joke. After two pairs of clear glasses, I welcome the bold frames again :)
We're gonna have to do a glasses post for Sam soon, her collection is so diverse & surely outnumbers mine. Enjoy the rest of your weekends!

ps, new nails + my skirt as a background
Great nails and great glasses. It's always the little details that make a great outfit.

i got the same ones from clearly contacts, so i feel biased to say that i love them!
ReplyDeleteI like the tortoise shell on you... I don't think I would be able to pull off the brown. I've definitely been a black frames kinda girl through and through and guess what? I ordered the Kam Dhillon 3024 in brown. I thought they were black... whoops!
ReplyDeleteLove your nails!!! So cute! I always wish I could make nails look super pretty, but I always end up sticking with one color. Cute cute!
