073: spring forward

Honestly, this weather is REALLY confusing me. One day the snow completely melts, the dead grass starts showing & the ground is all muddy, which is SURELY a sign of spring, right? And then the same night, another blizzard hits us & the snowblowers are back out. It's tough making clothing decisions when the sun is shining bright but the thermometer is still in the negatives, so I've been trying to still layer, while bringing out some summer favourites, like my floral maxi & my floppy hat :) I also pretend like I'm sunbathing while lying in the sunshine that comes in through the window. ohhhh denial.

OH YEAH & now that the clocks have sprung forward, we have an extra hour of sunlight! The days are only getting longer from here!

also, i saw my sage plant outside & plucked one of the leaves & gave it a sniff-- still smells delish! I think the snow & cold just kinda froze & dehydrated my plant... Maybe I can cook with it still :P.
