Being a really small business owner means we've got a really tight budget. Instead of buying a new Judy, we scoured craigslist & kijiji & I ended up finding one for a fraction of the cost in stores. This meant driving to a stranger's house and picking up a sorta broken dressform.
With our move & everything, the crack in the one breast was worsening and the alignment along a lot of the 'seams' were waaaay skewed. Luckily, I figured out how to disassemble her so that we could goop the crack back together...
do you see how huge the crack was?
totally robocop looking.
so yeah. I spent hours today fixing judy & she's finally ready for us to use!
I'm pretty proud of my handiness today :)

Awww, Judy looks exactly like the dress form I picked up at a garage sale on the weekend! The little old lady I got it from called her Diana, and lamented the fact that as she grew Diana didn't grow with her, haha. I need to do a little repair work on her, but she's a beauty.
