002: pretty dark

When your occupation requires you to never leave your house, some days it gets tough to change out of your pyjamas. I've heard that you should still dress yourself each day as if you are going to work so that you don't get in a slump, but sadly, I live in my yoga pants & house-uggs. I guess part of this new resolution to take a photo a day will motivate us to change our outfits more often though!

Sam & I spent most of our day cleaning up christmas decorations to go back into storage but we did have an errand run today, so we had a bit of motivation to actually throw on some clothes. It must have been the dark, gloomy day, we both ended up in our usual all-black outfits. Both quite gothic & a little macabre....

SYL:

I received a text yesterday from Matt that said "You forgot your makeup bag in my car. You know, you are beautiful without makeup". At first I was like AWWW & then I was like SHIT. So that's why I look like I'm hiding from the paparazzi... Matt's definitely going to make fun of me for that one.

shredded back thrice tee

necklace from f21
rings from f21 & lipglossandblack.com

my pewter doc martens! my christmas present from matt... which he thought of himself! (just kidding, I sent him the link to buy them. He says I ruined christmas.)

SAM:

This weekend, I had a bit of a debate with some boys about the difference between a bodysuit and a bathing suit. I think my argument ended up being that bodysuits are not meant to be worn in the harsh chlorine & sunlight... and that swim suits are usually padded. yup.

Ribcage Bodysuit from Black Milk Clothing

polished triple knuckle ring, now available at Lipgloss & Black

shoes from XXI. Microfibre socks from Ardene. lol...amazing

Day two, complete! Has everyone else been successful in keeping their resolutions so far?

A big thank you to everyone who has commented on our blog... ever. We always appreciate hearing back & knowing that we're not just talking to ourselves sometimes ;)

xoxo

  7. hey sailorepresh :)
I shredded my tee myself-- it takes quite a while to do because you're going practically thread by thread. It maybe took me... 6 hours+ ? Though I was doing it during a lot of long drives traveling around over the holidays, so it didn't seem so tedious :)
