013: sugar highs

Today has been a day of photo-editing for me & copy-editing for Sam. Takin' care of business, bitchez. It's tough having products on both a website & on etsy... we're still unsure which place does better & where people are more comfortable with buying. gah. trial & error, as usual!

Our kid sis is going on a band trip this year & is selling chocolates, so I decided to fiddle around with my Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 lens :)

I bought an aero... sometimes I just love a good ol' smooth, plain chocolate.

i ate this whole thing today. my head hurts :(

and Sam decided to buy a few of everything. LMAO.

Am I right that these Nestle Chocolate bars are available in Canada only? Can anyone confirm this? What's your favourite chocolatey treat?

xo

  1. The good kinds aren't available in the US :( There's a white chocolate bar called Galak that I loved ages ago but I could only get it in France!

So not cool since American chocolate tends to suck

  3. There's a specialty shop in Harvard square that sells those, but they're not mass marketed in the US.

  5. @ Mai: yes, Galak is the tipical white chocolate in Italy too, with the dolphine icon on! by Nestlè
    In every European contry, then..

And actually we do have kit kat in Italy, it's the only chocolate bar that I like to eat!
And we don't have Aero, but something really similar from another brand!

  6. you're making me crave chocolate like crazy right now!!

this is one thing i missed when i was living in the US: Nestle chocolate! Areo is by far my favorite and i was so sad when i realized that they don't sell Nestle there... well, not in the west coast, anyway.

  7. Mai, I'm totally gonna look out for Galak now! mmm

Nico, so nestle is in Europe too? I believe it's in Asia as well cause I know Kit Kat comes in a ton of crazy novelty flavours! Funny that the US is the only one without a ton of Nestle chocolate products. hmm.

Kat, are you gonna stock up on Aeros this time then? haha, I LOVE nestle fav-rits (those huuuge boxes of assorted mini chocolates) that they only sell for halloween. mmmm. :p

  8. We have Aero and the Kit Kat ones in Australia, but not Coffee Crisp. This makes me sad because anything with a name like that must be awesome.
